VENICE BEACH BID IN THE COMMUNITY
Letter From a Venetian
We got this message on our website the first week of January. It seemed like a wonderful start to the new year.
Message
Hi met one of your team members cleaning up on N Venice Blvd this morning and wanted to write you guys to let you know he did an exceptional job. His effort and care for the neighborhood is very much appreciated. He told me Venice helped turn his life around and I ended up buying him a coffee and a snack from Bellissimo next to James Beach.
Please pass along the positive feedback if you can! His attention to detail reminded me of the MLK Jr. quote:
“If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as a Michaelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, ‘Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.”

BID Response
Happy New Year, and thank you for your kind words and kind acts, Christophe. We did pass your praise along to our Clean Team member, who prefers to remain anonymous.
