The Safe Team also assisted in 20 trespassing incidents and performed 14 health and safety/welfare checks.

Is your trash container getting trashed?
Athens Services offers free annual cleanings.
The VB BID coordinates with other clean and safe resources to help make sure BID members are getting the best possible service. In August, we reached out to Athens Services, the City of LA’s contractor for commercial property trash collection and recycling. We learned that they provide FREE container cleaning services for their customers:
1 free pressure wash/steam cleaning per container per 12 months
3 free graffiti cleanings per container per 12 months
1 free pressure wash/steam cleaning per compactor/roll-off dumpster per 12 months
Call 888-336-6100 to schedule a cleaning. We tested this and the service was provided as requested, so please email us if you encounter problems. Our goal is to help resolve service issues for BID members. (Please note: residential customers of LA City Sanitation are not eligible for Athens’ cleaning services.)
