VENICE BEACH BID IN THE COMMUNITY
As our state responds to the challenges of COVID-19, Venice’s safety remains a top priority for the VB BID. All Clean and Safe Team members are receiving additional training on enhanced safety precautions related to the pandemic. With these heightened measures in place, the Clean and Safe Teams are continuing to provide services at this time. If you have feedback or questions for us, please email the BID at: admin@venicebeachbid.com.
Clean and Safe Teams Coordinate with LA Sanitation on Community Cleanup of Bulky Items
From discarded mattresses and other furnishings to wooden pallets and household appliances, our district is awash in bulky item trash. We’ve all seen how our streets, sidewalks and alleys can suddenly – or chronically – become cluttered with unwanted objects.
The VB BID has made picking up bulky trash items a very high priority, but our capacity to dispose of these items is limited. However, LA Sanitation has stepped up to help us out!
Our team met with key representatives from LA Sanitation who offered, and subsequently delivered, a temporary 40-yard dumpster so that we could provide enhanced community cleanups within our district. Please read the full story – with photos – here.
